A Dusty To Darling
Bathroom Renovation

Before:
The bathroom originally featured a traditional and somewhat dated design. The vanity had dark wooden cabinets with dual sinks, but the heavy, dark wood gave the space an outdated and uninspired appearance. Above the vanity hung a large, framed mirror, paired with simple, conventional lighting fixtures that offered limited style and ambiance. The floors were covered with light-colored square tiles, which, while clean, didn’t enhance the room’s overall design.

The shower was enclosed with frosted glass framed in chrome, providing a functional yet unremarkable look. This design made the shower feel closed off and less inviting. Adjacent to the shower was a large, built-in corner jacuzzi surrounded by white tiles—a fixture that, though practical, occupied a significant amount of space and added to the bathroom's dated look. The beige walls, combined with the lack of standout features, left the room feeling bland and lacking in personality.

After:
This renovation has completely transformed this bathroom from dusty to darling, turning it into a modern, luxurious space. The heavy dark wood of the old vanity has been replaced with rich, warm wooden cabinets that feature new dual sinks, maintaining functionality while vastly improving the aesthetic. The new vanity design is topped with elegant marble countertops, offering a sophisticated contrast to the wood, and the mirrors are now paired with chic, contemporary lighting fixtures that brighten the space and add a touch of modern style. Brushed gold hardware on the drawer pulls adds a touch of luxury, giving the room an upscale, polished finish.

The shower area has seen a significant upgrade. The frosted glass and chrome frame have been replaced with a frameless glass enclosure, creating an open and inviting feel. The shower walls are now adorned with vibrant teal subway tiles, arranged horizontally to create a striking visual impact. Inside the shower, a built-in niche with small hexagonal tiles adds both a functional and decorative element. The removal of the large corner bathtub has opened up the layout, making the room feel more spacious and airy and creating a zone for centering and relaxation.

The floors have been updated with large-format light-colored tiles that reflect light, contributing to the fresh, open atmosphere of the space. Overall, the bathroom has been transformed from a dated and functional room into a stylish, spa-like retreat, blending modern design with luxurious touches to create a bright, inviting space.
