This kitchen was tragically outdated and needed to modernized badly--so BHR went in and turned the older rustic kitchen into a newer, lighter, contemporary rustic-style space that combines modern design elements with natural materials such as the maple wood and stone countertops. The result is a warm and inviting kitchen that feels both modern and cozy.
With new maple flooring, and new french doors leading out to the backyard, our clients dogs can now run around the house without damaging the floors. Maple is a durable and long-lasting hardwood that can withstand heavy foot traffic and pet claws, making it a great choice for the owners of Hoppy and Bernie.
We finished the look by adding a golden faucet which ties in with black and gold lighting fixtures and the black countertops. As well, the setup of this now U-shaped kitchen makes it flow easily into the dinning room and vice-versa...creating an open and flowing space which makes hosting parties, playing with pets, and hanging around as a family simply perfect!
